This is AmbaNews Breaking News: Mark Bareta's Mom, Ms. Ruth Ayuk Released.
AmbaNews has just been informed that the mother of Mark Bara - Ambazonia's most vocal activist - was released this Friday evening by the Buea Central Police Station. A reliable source at the Buea judicial police hinted our newsroom. Mark Bara has confirmed.
Investigation by our Buea based reporter reveals that a blackleg, who, probably has grudges with the BerataNews CEO lied to the colonial governor of the Southern Zone amongst others that:
- That Mark's mom receives money from abroad; then, goes to Meme, Ndian and Manyu Counties to distribute to fighters;
- That she drugs Ambazonian fighters with tramadol to 'get them high'.
Upon thorough investigation including ransacking her home and going through all money transfer receipts she had, Ms. Ruth Ayuk was cleared of all the allegations. Investigators were surprised that she had less than 50,000 FCFA (equivalent of 50 Amba) in her bank account. She was interrogated and questions such as; how many kids she has, marital status, social groups she belongs to and the sort of discussions they have within the group.
To her surprise, security officials from La Republique told Ms. Ayuk her itinerary for the past two months: all dead celebrations she attended, her trips to and out of town and even church prayer sessions. They claimed the Meme and Manyu colonial SDOs had damaging reports aainst her.
All in all; in the end, La Republique's colonial security officials told her what they did to AYAH Paul several months ago; "we found nothing against you. You may now go home".
