Cameroon's Divisibility | More Facts And Figures Point To The Fact That Cameroon Is Two And Very

Obtaining independence on two separate dates in 1960 and 1961, the then Republic of Cameroon (colonized by the french) and Southern Cameroons (colonized by the British) respectively, came into a kind of trial marriage ("Come We Stay") on grounds that if things work out well they may formalize their marriage by obtaining a marriage certificate (Treay of Union). This trial union was based on two historic conditions; (1) that the union was to be a Federal Union, with each country standing out as a state - two-state federation, (2) that the union was never, under no condition, to be tempered with.

Unfortunately, the government of the Republic of Cameroon has constantly and regularly abuse these conditions while oppressing and marginalizing citizens of Southern Cameroons, with the sole intention to completely wipe out and francophonize them. The colonial regime withdrew herself from the union by (1) merging the two stars representing the two states into one, (2) changing the country's name from Federal Republic of Cameroon to United Republic of Cameroon and later to Republic of Cameroon (appellation before union).

Despite all these, Southern Cameroonians, home and abroad have always stood for and supported Cameroon as a nation with all patriotism in all her endeavors. Remember the 90s, when we all stood up in full support of the Lions? you remember the national support against Boko Haram?.....just to name a few. This is because, despite all the odds, we still thought we were all the children of one nation.

Unfortunately, the colonial government, together and her children, have not been seeing it that way. They see things the other way round when it comes to the socio-political and refugee situations rocking the Southern Cameroons. Most probably, the french Cameroon sees Southern Cameroonians as their citizens only when it comes to their resources and individual assistance.

The refugee population in Nigeria

It is now two(2) years and counting since the escalation of the Anglophone Crises, which have witnessed hundreds of thousands of civilians killed for even dare to protest peacefully in demand of their rights. Three major indicators have emerged during this period which show that the Republic of Cameroon and Southern Cameroons are two separate countries and these include. These are indicators that even a blind person will see and have no doubts that the intention of the colonial government is to wipe out every citizen of Southern Cameroons to probably take over their land;

  1. September-October 2017 Killings: Thousands were shot and killed with live bullets, several wounded and hundreds arrested and abducted by the colonial forces, for having gone out to protest with peace plants. As we write, many have died, and the where about of many not known.

  2. The Current War In Southern Cameroons: As the killings continued even after these periods, the citizens in self defense mode killed some four uniform men, and the president seize it as an opportunity to accomplish his pre-planned intention, by declaring a war on the same citizens he says they are in a one and indivisible Cameroon. Unfortunately for the colonial government, though with casualties on the civilian side, the people are defending themselves. Already more than 4,500 military already killed, though the government is hiding this figure from the public.

  3. The Silence Of Sons and Daughters of the Colonial Regime: It is rather unfortunate that at the peak of live genocide and humanitarian crises that has led to thousand of refugees in neighbouring countries and bushes, neither the government no any of the 8 regions (francophones), stood up to either criticize and condemn the government for their excesses, or joined in the fight in support of the Southern Cameroonians, for the sake of the unity they preach. For two years now, the government has remained silence over the deplorable situation of refugees in Nigeria likewise their children. None of then has offered even a word of condolence to the deceased, and this is probably because they have hopes that their plans are working.

The refugees in neighbouring Nigeria depend on individual aids from Southern Cameroonian brothers and sisters, well wishers, and assistance from NGOs, UN, and Nigerian government. It is unfortunate, no Cameroon government official, not even in the name of the government has made any humanitarian move towards these citizens living in very deplorable conditions.

Ayah Ayah Abine, the president of Ayah Foundation in one of his repeated calls for the government to take her full responsibility to protect the people who voted for him, wrote the following message on his facebook page;

The 'one & indivisible' paradox!

For two years and counting, not even a political chief and/or floor administrator has been dispatched by the State to Nigeria to go provide even common 10 sachets of 'pure water' to fellow refugee-countrymen they claim to be part of the 'one and indivisible' Cameroon. They are completely abandoned to themselves like wild animals (as they have been called) to prostitute, steal, beg and die. What a paradox! What a shame!

This tells the true story about what they think deep inside the bosom of their hearts: Those lives don't matter; They aren't considered Cameroonian enough. If they were, the contrary would have have occurred. The refugee subject is even literally banned from the lips of those who have lips as even our own people have chosen to seal their lips on the subject.

Yet, we cater for Nigerian and Central African refugees up North and in the East. We even carryout international campaigns for them.

Ayah Foundation is one of the leading humanitarian organizations offering assistance to the displaced persons, refugees and those shot and living an unhealthy lives because of the crises. On several occasions, they have gone to Nigeria to offer food stuffs and raised money to carry out urgent healthcare services both home and abroad.

The three points listed above are clear evidence to everyone that Cameroon is two countries with distinct culture and governing systems, contrary to what colonial politicians thing.
