Nigerian Army Gives 24 Hours Ultimatum To LRC To Bring Back All Nigerian Abductees; Lectured LRC Arm

Our bench is getting confirmed updates from AmbaNews that, following the violation of Nigerian boundaries and abduction of Nigerians by the CameroUN army as earlier reported on this platform, the Nigerian defense forces have given LRC army up to 24 hours to bring back their citizens, and never again tresspass.

AmbaNews continue coverage of what they term madness of La Republique's incursion into Nigeria through the Ekang border. The last time we were able to get to our reporter on the ground was yesterday by 3:00 PM Amba time. Since then, a few things have happened. Upon the arrival of the Nigerian military men, La Republique's terrorist soldiers immediately retreated and disappeared into the Ambazonian forests. A few minutes later, perhaps, after having cooked up lies, one La Republique's terrorist soldier emerged from the woods with his hands on his head and approached the Nigerian soldiers. He lied that they had sufficient evidence that those they were trailing had actually killed their soldiers and sought refuge at refugee camps. And that one of those whom they shot had a UN refugee card on one of his pocket; and on the other pocket, they found his phone that contained images of Ambazonian activities. The head of the Nigerian army asked the soldier to sit on the floor before continuing his narrative because he couldn't produce copies of his proofs. While this discussion was going on, some of the terrorist soldiers emerged from their hideout looking remorseful. They were severely warned by the Nigerian army not to ever again trespass into Nigerian territory regardless of their reasons. The terrorists from LRC were schooled by their counterparts on basic notions of international humanitarian law and laws pertaining to the territorial integrity of a state. They (the Nigerian army) ended it all by giving the terrorist soldiers 24 hours to produce Nigerians they had earlier abducted. That ultimatum expires by 6:30 PM this evening. Meanwhile, AmbaNews would like to bring to the attention of its readers that as per finding made at the Calabar office of the Nigerian National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaces persons, which work in collaboration with the UNHCR, the organisations are yet to issue UN refugee ID cards at the moment. And that what they are currently doing is simply the collection of bio data of the refugees at this time. "The only asylum seekers coming from Cameroon whom we have duly identified and heard their case and for whom we have prepared refugee ID cards are those that came since around January this year. It was only yesterday Dec 6 that we made the cards available. The process of issuing those documents are long and time consuming. Right night, what we are concerned about is their welfare"; our source who works at the Nigerian National Commission for refugees disclosed to AmbaNews on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to make statements to the press. AmbaNews therefore considers the narrative of La Republique's terrorist soldiers as witchcraft!
