The Colonial Divisional Officer For Manyu County Orders Inhabitants Of This Area To Flee To Safer Ar

As the more than one year old crises worsen, oppression increases from the side of the government as resistance and self defense becomes intense from the citizens.

Recently, within 24 hours, six uniform men have been killed in self defense with one seriously wounded. Following this escalation, the president of LRC, upon returning from AU-EU summit, has declared war on the anglophone minority, calling them terrorists.

Also, as a security meeting holds in the nation's capital, Yaounde, the Divisional officer for Manyu has just issued a press release, ordering inhabitants occupying some villages in the sub Divisions of Akwaya, Eyumojock and Mamfe to abandon their homes and flee to 'safer' places of their choices. As we write, no one, except the DO and the regime, has any idea surrounding this act of oppression to the already oppressed people. Read full release below;

We are wondering if Cameroon is actually a signatory to most international treaties and laws which she is violating the way she wants. As the international community stay mute to Biya's atrocities to the anglophone minority, they now feel very free to continue the way they want.

We believe, like all other persons and organizations, that the United Nations has failed woefully in diplomatic actions. The SG prefers to move from country to country, collecting gifts from those oppressing their citizens and violating international treaties. In a recent statement at the United Nations, Francois Fa, the special representative of UNSG for Africa has openly called the anglophone minority secessionists, equating them to terrorists. InnerCityPress had published on this. We have also heard one Nardine Njoya, serving at the United Nations Human Rights Commission publicly called anglophones terrorists, and urge the government of Biya to use more repressive measures and strategies to silent them.

Recent developments from the president and the Divisional officer, declaring war and telling people to evacuate their premises is a full indication that the Biya's regime is benefiting from United Nations' utterances to eradicate the people. There is therefore no doubt that, the United Nations has become gasoline rather than fire extinguisher, urging dictators to carry out genocidal acts and eradicate the minority from existence.

Following the Divisional Officer's note, we urge the inhabitants of the entire Manyu County to all rise up, assemble at the DO's office and ask him to create a safer place as comfortable as their homes for them to relocate to. He should be requested to explain to them the natural disaster that his scientists have foreseen to take place in their region. Failure for the Divisional officer to comply with these requests, the people must not go anywhere.

Any attempt to oppress the people further, the people should repeat what happened on the 22nd of September 2017. It is the only strategy the people can use to overpower any colonial curfew or oppression.

God bless Ambazonians.
