5. To say the least, Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain is a comical figure who is unable to relate with coherence his experience in Bamenda. He has just finished mimicking:"Amba, Amba,Ambazonia",song he claimed was the rallying cry of demonstrators.

6. Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, claims he is now on detachment in Bamenda for the second year and will strongly want to go back to his base in Douala.

9. Intervention of Barrister Bernard Muna bc lawyer of govt bench has crossed over to whisper to their witness,Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, who is visibly short of claims against the accused.

10. Barrister Bernard Muna to the plaintiffs:"Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain is your witness, what else do you want him to say that, you don't know?"

11. Judge of military tribunal to Barrister Bernard Muna: is there any article in the legal code that bars, plaintiffs or state lawyers from questioning or speaking to witness in witbox?

12. Barrister Bernard Muna now cross examining Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain. Barrister Bernard Muna to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain:before your detachment to Bda,have you ever been to Bamenda?

13. Barrister Bernard Muna to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: you claimed you received threats via your phone, to whom did you give your phone number? Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: ask your brothers how they receive messages for ghost town?

14. Barrister Bernard Muna to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: "was threats u received via phone personal or to the general public?"

15. Barrister Bernard Muna to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: have you been witness of any threats directed towards Francophones or francophone families as you claimed?

16. Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: a University student told me he was threatened in campus bc he was French-speaking & client claimed he was asked decent from a taxi bc he spoke French.

17. Barrister Bernard Muna to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: Was Mancho Bibixy, present on the 22nd of September 2017,during demonstrations where you claimed demonstors were singing: Ambazonia & Bibixy Mancho?

18. Cross examination of Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain momentarily stopped bc of intervention of plaintiff or government bench.

19. Cross examination of Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain has resumed with this questions from Barrister Bernard Muna: were you the one who took the pictures of alleged victims? When did you arrive in Bamenda? Did you get part in the of demonstrators?

20. Defense attorney to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: you claimed Bda 3rd district police station was burned down, did you see those who set it ablaze? Did you arrive there when the arsonists were present? Is it true or false that, u could not identify the arsonists?

21. Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: I can't answer the questions from defense lawyer.

22. Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, seem irritated. Judge of military tribunal to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: if you can't answer a question don't respond.Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, don't get angry, you have experience worse things &more might occur.

23. Defense attorney: Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, I am going to ask u my last question, were all destruction carried out by persons u can identify?

24. Now speaking Barrister Bindji. His questions: how long have u been in Police? Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: i have worked in the Police for 15 years.

25. Barrister Bindji to Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain: u claimed francophone families &others laid complaints about threats ,what did u do?

26. Judge of military tribunal to comes to the aide of Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain. Unable to answer Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain is aided by lawyers of the government who have interjected an objection.

27. Barrister Bindji insists: Police inspector Sombi Valerie Alain, what did u do following all the supposed threats? Barrister Bindji: witness who can't answer a question is making a mockery of this court.
