This attack is different from that of yesterday, which led some 4 colonial forces to the mortuary, with one seriously wounded.
About 24 hours later, we are getting confirmed reports of 5 additional deads from the same County of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, as some unidentified men from yet top identified defense group launched a fresh attack at Otu village, taking down Four (4) colonial police officers and one (1) gendarme. This takes the dead toll of colonial forces to 9 within 24 hours, and about 13, within one month.

A native of Otu village, Manyu County currently residing in Nigeria hinted AbaNews reporter earlier this morning. This story was later corroborated by a Mamfe indigene whose brother serves with the military of La Republique.
The four police officers shot to dead were amongst the 5 few out of the 15 police officers recently deployed yesterday morning around Manyu County; 10 at the Ekok border and 5 at Otu border.
As we speak, panicky Senior Police Commissioner in Mamfe has ordered withdrawal of all police officers deployed around Manyu to report to Mamfe immediately.
As we write, the public still awaits a statement from the popular self defense force (ADF) of Dr. Ayaba Cho Lucas, concerning this attack.
As we write, AmbaNews has confirmed that two truck loads of uniform men have been dispatched to the area while the youths have scampered for cover at nearby bushes.

We of the AmbaNews platform think it is foolish to fight against ghosts; people you do not see. It is the same thing as punching into the air. LRC soldiers should question Yaounde the purpose for which they have extended their rule over another country. They should refuse to allow themselves be killed for absolutely false claims. They MUST wake up from sleep.
LRC should lower their shoulders and beg to negotiate peaceful withdrawal; failure which, the ground shall always continue to be ungovernable. Shegeh!
The future is truly really pregnant.
From federalists to nationalists / 'independentists'. Ambazonia MUST be free.
This is just coming in from the desk of the Chairman of Ambazonia Defence Forces, ADF. The letter from Chairman Benedict Kuah states that the operations undertaken earlier this morning by his forces were entirely an ADF operation.
Meanwhile, in some related news, 'Adjoudant Chef' Ayuk Gregory, an Ambazonian BIR officer, who happens to be the head of the command post that was attacked by the ADF has been arrested and is yet to be charged. Reports streaming from Mamfe states that he is suspected for conniving with ADF.
AmbaNews will not be tired to emphasise that actions taken by any defence groups to seize, confiscate and chase out colonial forces from our land are within international law. La Republique MUST comply with the provisions of art 4b of the African Union Constitutive Act by respecting its boundaries inherited at independence which ends at the Mungo.
When we take a second look at the photo, it hurts to believe that these are the sort of heavy weapons they use on our people. Never again should we allow ourselves to be wasted like rats.
We must also FORCE La Republique and not beg to dialogue with them.
The future, as always, remains pregnant.
