Once a Soldier, Ever a Soldier. Once Undemocratic, Ever Undemocratic.
The SDF initially authorised rally/walk in SOLIDARITY to 'anglophones' which was scheduled for Saturday October 21, appears to have been formally banned.. According to the décision attached BELOW (hope the Bilingualusm Commission orders them to make public an english version ASAP), by the administrative authority of the area, anyone Who takes to the streets on that DAY in that locality is doing so at his/her own Risk

When the news went viral that Cameroon government has authorised SDF's solidarity match in Douala, many mistakenly believed that Cameroon was becoming democratic. It would have been the first public manifestation ever authorised by the government for the number one opposition party.
However, character is something that cannot and never be changed. I remember coming across a statement by one great writer, who said, and I quote;
"If you ever told me someone changed his character, I won't belief. But if you told me a mountain has moved, then I will believe you"
The Cameroon government has this character of not permitting either people or political parties to manifest a constitutional right. One can only be a fool to believe that this character of theirs can change.
