In view of the upcoming United Nations Human Rights Committee meeting that is to run from October 16 to November 10, and considering the stake of human rights abuses in Southern Cameroons, the Cameroon Ambassador to Switzerland, Leonard Henri BINDZI, has issued a Communique, calling on Cameroonians in the diaspora to assemble at the UN Geneva office on October 20, 2017 to give a different story on the killings, abduction, torture and other rights abuses currently going on in Southern Cameroons. See communique below...

I want to remind our readers through the elaboration of the following key points (as stated in the communique) that this letter is another usual attempt by the government to sabotage and kill the winning struggle of Southern Cameroonians;
Reaffirms Cameroon's Indivisibility: If SCAR.press may ask the ambassador, which of the Cameroons is he talking about. Is it La Republic du Cameroun or Southern Cameroons, or the illegal united Cameroon? If it is the former, good. The ambassador is very right. If it is Southern Cameroons, the ambassador has no business and no legitimacy to comment on their state of affairs.
If the ambassador is talking of the illegally united Cameroon, then he is 100% WRONG as considering the following cases, the government, has on several occasions, proven to Cameroonians and the world that the country is very DIVISIBLE.
Case 1: La Republique du Cameroon left the union the year they left the name which reflected their union with Southern Cameroons (Federal Republic of Cameroon) and went back to the name they had befor reunification (La Republique du Cameroon). Moreso, considering is completely written in French, yet the colonial ambassador is calling on Cameroonians to come out and protest to promote bilingualism.
Case 2: At one time in history, the government cut off internet connection in the Southern Cameroons, while La Republique du Cameroon, at the same period enjoyed internet connections, running their businesses, and booming their economy.
Case 3: You favour the development and integration of Cameroonians of French origin by issuing all state documents uniquely in french, which is the language English speaking Cameroonians do not understand.
Case 4: Southern Cameroonians are highly restricted from from carrying out certain public activities (peaceful public protest), while those of the french Cameroon do it without hitches. Remember, teachers and students went on strike in Southern Cameroons and were met with brutality, rape, killings, while around the same period, teachers went on strike in Yaounde, demanding unpaid arrears, and were well received by the Ministers. On several occasions, the Southern Cameroons based opposition party has been refused public gathering for addressing key political issues.
Case 5: On October 1st, 2017, while Southern Cameroonians were being tortured, killed and abducted in their hundreds for celebrating their independence day anniversary, Francophones in the cities of Douala and Yaounde (La Republique du Cameroon) were celebrating on the same day and for the same purpose without any problem. As we write, after October 1st, the military carried out a door to door raid, shooting every able man on the leg. As we write, abductions are still ongoing, with full peace and in the other Cameroon.
Condemn Disorder Perpetrated By Secessionists: Mr. ambassador, permit us at SCAR.press to remind a diplomat like you that, as Pa Molar Njoh has always said, there can never be any divorce without a marriage. Marriage here means fulfilling all rights attributed to a marriage, and obtaining a marriage certificate. If many term the union between Southern Cameroons and LRC, it is because there is no such certificate. In diplomacy it is called Union of Treaty. This is to remind us that there is no such thing like secessionist.
Talking about the violence. Who is the sole perpetrator of the violence you are calling on Cameroonian diaspora to come and protest against? It is the government you serve. It is you, Mr. Ambassador. Many politicians have reported on this. Many organizations and human right groups have reported on this. REDHAC, a human right organization reported of over a hundred citizens in Southern Cameroons dead. Amnesty International, after field investigations, on October 12, 2017, issued a report accusing and condemning the government and military of abduction of over 500 citizens, most of whom were demanded at least 60 USD (about 33,000FCFA) for their release. In their report, they reported the military shooting to dead and refusing medical care to those injured and at the point of dead. Read full report here >>

In Southern Cameroons, military men have been reported shooting unarmed civilians from a war helicopter, shooting civilians in their homes through house to house raid, destruction of satellite dishes and household equipment, abduction of minors, church goers and people right from their homes.
So Mr. ambassador, are you by your communique, calling on the diaspora to come out in their numbers and protest against you?? Good, we shall all be there.
Reaffirm The Necessity Of Dialogue: Hahahahahaha. Mr. Ambassador is not different from his master. Like master like servant. You, as a diplomat, know very well, the power of dialogue in addressing issues and advancing development, but have decided to not use it at all. Dialogue is suppose to be practical and not theoretical. You and your master exploit the social media space and use communique like the one above to preach dialogue, but keep running away from the practical part of it. You guys are so deficient that you can only preach dialogue on the social media. When has your government ever called for dialogue? You can not say dialogue is good, but keep running from it.
Ever before Common law lawyers went on strike, they had sent several letters to the government calling on them to have a round table and discuss on the reformation of their legal system. You government rejected them. At the escalation of the crises, till date, your government has rejected all calls for dialogue by the UN, AU, Civil society, Political leaders, other countries, Church leaders and human right organizations. It seems the ambassador and his government are taking dialogue for crimes against humanity.
Reaffirm Bilingualism And Cultural Diversity Is Wealth: At the time Mr. Ambassador is talking of bilingualism, SCAR.press is unable to locate the English version of his communique (above). Once more, by your Communique (official information for "indivisible" Cameroon public consumption), you are expressing the divisibility of French Cameroon and English Cameroon. At the wake of the crises, to mask your bad faith towards Southern Cameroonians, your government created the so called Commission on Bilingualism and Multiculturalism, which though unfit to address the anglophone problems, has gone silence since its creation.
Dear reader, by elaborating the above points, we wanted to give you the reason why you should be going for the gathering. We should be going to protest against the ambassador and his government for the violence, abduction, killings and destruction of private and public property.
Our country protest organizers in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands etc must do something. This is an emergency.
Again, placards MUST NOT carry anything calling on BIYA to go, nothing on Cameroon. Instead, print out as many pictures of Biya's past and recent atrocities as you can. Examples of what should appear on our placards:
1. Stop GENOCIDE by decolonising Southern Cameroons / Ambazonia;
2. Ethnic Cleansing Ongoing in the Southern Cameroons / Ambazonia;
3. STOP the Rape of our girls and women;
4. La Republique du CameroUn : Guilty of War Crimes in Ambazonia;
5. FREE the Southern Cameroons;
6. The UN MUST Stop Genocide Complacency;
7. ACT NOW Before its TOO LATE;
8. STOP Being Firefighters : Prevent the Fire Outbreak;
9. INDICT Biya for Crimes Against Humanity
WE MUST, BY THIS NOTE, GO OUT IN OUR NUMBERS TO GIVE A STRONG MESSAGE TO THE UN HUMAN RIGHT COMMISSION.
