In the wake of the Anglophone crises, BIYA went into Machiavellian Political Calculations as usual. In a bid to appease the Anglophones;
ITEM: BIYA contemplated a Constitutional Amendment that will not only call for early Presidential Elections but will create the post of VICE PRESIDENT with accession rights to the throne. With PM YANG having spent many years at the Star Building, it was evident that the appointment will come from SW. there were two contenders; MUSONGE, EBONG NGOLE. Proof: MUSONGE went ahead to bribe puppet press men to brandish him as the most likely candidate.
Two problems arose:
BIYA himself had dissolved the VICE PRESIDENT Post and he was reluctant to go back to his word
Several big wigs of the OUEST Region, NIAT, KUETE, sultan NJOYA through the bedroom (CHANTAL BIYA) reminded BIYA that they too have a right to enter ETOUDI. Proof: The OUEST memorandum in reply to the MFOUNDI elite.
Having failed in this regard, BIYA contemplated appointing two Anglophones to ministries of sovereignty: AYAH PAUL and FRU JONATHAN. AYAH was proposed by PM YANG for the post of Minister of Justice to replace LAURENT ESSO, YANG himself being a seasoned magistrate, knew AYAHs worth so well.
Again, BIYAs close friends proposed AYAH for the PM post, with the present PM having expressed his willingness to go with the argument that AYAH was upright, impartial and independent of mind and was among the few Anglophones who could rally support and objectively defend the interests of both NW and SW regions.
That is when ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.
While the entire world crucified LAURENT ESSO for AYAHs arrest, it forgot to know that the former was just a tip of the iceberg of a GRAND NATIONAL CONSPIRACY against AYAH PAUL. In essence, the entire REPUBLIC was fighting against one man and everyone wanted to get a pound of his flesh. [Mange dans toutes les sauces du pays]
BIYA cohorts wanted AYAHs head for daring to challenge the Constitutional Amendment that gave the former a Life Presidency.
BIYA cohorts wanted AYAH out of the scene before the next Presidential Elections, having done well in the 2011 Elections, being his first attempt.
LAURENT ESSO wanted AYAHs head so the former could retain his post.
The IMPOSTOR OPPOSITION wanted a major contender, AYAH and his party out of the scene so they could continue to carry out their shady deals with BIYA. The PAP came 4th in the 2011 Elections in its very first attempt in spite of all the rigging.
the SUPREME COURT wanted AYAH out so as to ensure a none-opposed declaration of BIYA and CPDM victory in next Elections that will be highly rigged as usual
The power hungry and ambitious SW elite wanted AYAH dead so as to fulfill their political ambition of becoming PM or VP or even CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL PRESIDENT, hence the title MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN CAMEROON
MUSONGE came to BUEA and compelled Fako Elite and Chiefs (cheap articles on saleMBELLA MOKI) to sign a strong but trumped up petition against AYAH, that they had overwhelming evidence that AYAH was the one sponsoring terrorism in the entire SW, paying hoodlums to burn schools and government offices, attack the Forces of Law and Order, attack schools, printing and distribution of Ambazonia T shirts and Passports and all the like. Musonge explained that AYAH was once in the CPDM and he abandoned them so there is no way AYAH could be appointed PM to rule over them after he had dumped the CPDM years back. MUSONGEs political calculation here was that if AYAH from the SW climbed to PM, there will be no way for another SW son to be VICE President or SENATE President or CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL PRESIDENT in the next geopolitical and geostrategic configuration so AYAH had to be eliminated by all means.
The next set of petitions came from NDIAN where DIONE NGUTE and Chief ESOH ITOH drafted similar stories and compelled Ndian Chiefs, Mayors, Senators and Members of Parliament to sign, that when AYAH worked in NDIAN, he amassed huge hectares of palm plantations and he was so rich that he could sponsor a civil war in Cameroon.
In Manyu, IGELLE ELIAS, TABE TANDO and MENGOT wrote same. IGELLE with the help of AGBOR TABI stole the last Parliamentary Elections that ousted AYAHs PAP and with AGBOR TABI now dead, IGELLE knows fully well that there is no way he can be re-elected in Akwaya, reason why he wanted AYAH dead by all means, even till now.
While in KUPE MUANENGUBA, NGOLLE NGOLLE, NGOLLE NGWESE and ELUNG PAUL did same since it wasnt news that the next PM will come from SW so they had do fight tooth and nail to secure their chances. People like ELUNG PAUL even went ahead to sponsor newspapers like THE MEDIAN to publish his profile repeatedly as the most qualified candidate for the PM job and NGOLLE NGOLLE also desperately wants to re enter Government circles.
In MEME, Chief MUKETE, ATEM EBAKO and BENJAMIN ITOE rallied the same support. Only LEBIALEM singled themselves out of the masquerade and championed the Ambazonia cause after several years of neglect, deceit and unfulfilled promises from the Government that has left nothing but desolation in their Division, they decided not to align with other SW Divisions.
Little wonder why the SW was very silent when it came to the release of detainees as a means to solve the Anglophone crisis. Only the NW and the DIASPORA championed that cause, because the SW was directly involved in AYAHs arrest.
When LAURENT ESSO mentioned that he had overwhelming evidence against AYAH, he was banking on the petitions written by SW elite against AYAH, as every SW elite was hoping to be appointed PM. The Grand Conspiracy ensued and AYAH was picked up while lieutenants of his party were hunted and they jumped country till date. No one was supposed to know that AYAH was in detention. Having tasted blood before, LAURENT ESSO wanted a silent job where AYAH will be eliminated and dumped somewhere or even feign suicide or road accident and he won’t live to tell the story or to defend himself. Unfortunately, when IGELLE gave the green light to the doom squad to move in believing that AYAH was alone at home that Saturday, to their greatest surprise they met his wife and his son and a handful of relatives and that marked the beginning of their failed plan. TITUS EDZOAs window-less cell was intoxicated and AYAH was locked up in it so that he could die of suffocation by morning but it didnt happen. Several bank notes changed hands for people to shut their mouths about AYAHs arrest. Not even the cattle rearer of communication or the Minister of Justice ever mentioned even once that AYAH was detained or crooked CRTV. The only time CRTV mentioned his name for the 8 months detention period was when AYAH was forcefully retired though his superiors who are 13 years older than him were retained. The UN Delegation and other Human Rights groups were barred from meeting AYAH or from mentioning his name. Some were blackmailed to shut up or face the wrath of the law if ever they mentioned AYAH. TV organs were barred from mentioning his name except EQUINOXE which took his case personal. He became a taboo to the Republic. His son was the lone voice crying in the wilderness about the injustices meted on his father, reason why he was attacked and even detained. Spin doctors like OWONA NGUNI and VISION 4 TV were paid millions to brandish lies about how he was arrested at the Nigerian border as he tried to escape and hundreds of millions were found in his possession as he was running a mobile bank.
Supreme Court hierarchy mentioned that they overheard him using the office phone to communicate with secessionists abroad and the latter wired hundreds of millions into his account, money which he used to sponsor terrorism in the Anglophone regions.
ATANGA NJI PAUL also had his axe to grind, reason why he used his proxy, ACHU JULIUS to use sway AYAHs lawyers with a few bank notes as AKOSON PAULINE reported some time ago. AYAH was left without a lawyer, abandoned to die in detention.
Upon international pressure, the Presidency asked LAURENT ESSO to forward AYAHs file which he never did till date. The Presidency now conducted its own investigations both domestic and foreign and not a single evidence was found against AYAH, neither from him nor from any of his close friends or family members whose phone lines were tapped day and night to get the slightest clue that could be used to nail AYAH. This is one of the reasons why AYAH was denied bail twice with the hope that they could find even a pin that could be used to incriminate him.
[The same people who conspired against AYAH initially are the same people who attacked his house on October 1, hoping to hide behind the strike and eliminate him. When we got news of the attack here in Nigeria, I just laughed.]
This is when MUSONGE was appointed Head of BILLINGUALISM COMMISION as a subtle means to curtail his unbridled political ambition. The ploy here was to get MUSONGE out of the SENATE and out of any other post, reason why Article 2 of the BILLINGUALISM COMMISSION stipulates that “an appointment thereof is incompatible with any other appointment.”
In spite of that, MUSONGE tried desperately to retain his SENATORIAL POST to add to his plethora of portfolios, reason why he appeared in the JUNE session. In a meeting that held behind closed doors he was given marching orders to leave the SENATE and that is when he purportedly resigned.
MUSONGE also outsmarted BIYAs long time trusted friend and ally, JOHN EBONG NGOLE who used to be the Political God-Father of the SW. EBONG NGOLLE got so frustrated that he gave his life to Christ and now preaches the Gospel of Righteousness. He even visited TB JOSHUA as MARK BARETA and KEMI ASHU reported online by video.
We call this the POLITICS OF CO-OPTION. The so called POLITICAL ELITE like MUSONGE are among those who have never won an election, let alone contested an election yet they are the POLITICAL GODFATHERS of the land so tell me how. They do not have any MANDATE to represent anyone or to speak on anyones behalf. They are mere appointees.
MUSONGE was a staunch member of the CDU and a close friend to NDAM NJOYA when the former headed MATGENIE. It is NDAM NJOYA (IMPOSTOR OPPOSITION) who recommended him to BIYA as PM. Someone cross-carpets parties and becomes PM and political godfather of a region in the same year, lording it over those who have been on the field and militated in a party for ages after all the sacrifices. The same way MUSONGE was co-opted from CDU to CDPM, is the same way MUSONGE co-opted his in-law ROSE ABUNAW from UNDP to CDPM to be Member of Parliament under CDPM and Vice President of National ASSEMBLY all in a single year. In one year, someone leaves a party for another party and becomes MP in the new party and becomes VP of NA and the same person is voted CARNIVAL QUEEN OF THE MANYU LADIES glee CLUB. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE if you ask me!
MUSONGE has unbridled political ambition. His village BOKOVA of all Fako villages is the only one that hasnt got a chief. In Fako, 3 or 4 huts qualify for chiefdom, for those who know that area, thanks to MUSONGE.
He alone was SENATOR, CDPM senate group leader, DG MATGENIE, DG CDC, GRAND CHANCELLOR, POLITICAL GODFATHER OF SW, and HEAD OF BILLINGUALISM COMMISSION to name a few.
